We’re are all enjoying this unexpected Hi-Power revival. Dead and gone just a few years ago, Springfield read the room correctly when it brought out the SA-35 in 2021. That’s an old school, full-sized and faithful variant of John Browning’s 9mm masterpiece.
But it’s a bit hefty for all-day, everyday carry. The new commander-length version cuts it down just enough, while maintaining the desired 15-round magazine and all the familiar controls of the classic Hi-Power.
