Benelli M2-G1 — 60 Second Review

When it comes to battle proven tactical shotguns, few brands bring the combat experience—especially in a semi-auto platform—like Benelli. Marines and Sailors have been putting in good work with the M4 platform, ridding the world of terror shit birds since pre-9/11.

From law enforcement door kickers to home defense boom sticks, Benellis own a coveted space in Gundom. Now the company has doubled down with an all-new duty/home defense platform—the M2-G1.

First off, it looks sick with its multicam black Cerakote finish. A five-position stock makes it user friendly, whether on duty or civilian. It also includes a smart suite of attachment points for a sling, light and optic. Oversized controls speed up the manual of arms, and a new Rear Piston operating system is designed to eat and stay clean.

Once upon a time, it was universally accepted that pump guns ruled for tactical applications. Benelli, arguably more than any other company, proved that wrong. Now they’re further cementing their fighting legacy with the Benelii M2-G1.
