A lot of us consider the Glock 19 to be the F-150 of the gun world. It’s just a solid, reliable, nothing-too-fancy tool that gets everything done for you. The Rost Martin line of pistols is one of the newest competitors for polymer-framed, striker-fired, 9mm pistols. Fortunately for our readers, there are a lot of really great choices when it comes to this category, and the Rost Martin is no exception there.
When Rost Martin was first being released, I asked them to walk me through any groundbreaking features on the gun. They were very upfront and honest about where the gun stands amongst its competitors. The RM1C is a good option with good features at a good price. If you pair this gun with a Surefire X300 and a Trijicon RMR, I would welcome it on my nightstand or in my holster without any question for the performance.

Cons: These require proprietary holsters. If you prefer kydex, you will need to find some options. We like ANR Design, Veil Solutions and Black Point Tactical (so hassle them like it’s your senator).
