Glock COA Aimpiont Site – 60 Second Review

Got the Glock 43X here with the Aimpoint’s new COA sight. Nothing sexy about this gun. It’s a Glock. But you can beat it up, throw it on the ground, pick it up, pull the trigger, and it’ll still go boom. I’m really confident with Glock’s too. I’ve always shot ’em well. So I’m really confident when I’m carrying this gun.

The coolest thing about this system is this new COA sight. So what Glock and Aimpoint did here is they kinda redesigned the way you attach a red dot to a pistol. It’s a full dovetail mount that the sight sits into rather than having to put screws directly through your sight and into the slide. It’s all secured with your rear iron sight here, and that takes away a possible fail point, taking away the sheer force on those screws as they go through your sight and into the slide.

Really, really nifty setup.

These iron sights are blacked out. You could use them in an emergency case if your sight failed for some reason. But you can see the rear sight and your front sight through the bottom, say, 16th of your sight window. But looking at the sight specifically, Aimpoint basically collapsed the ACRO.

So think ACRO when you’re thinking of this COA sight. You get the same size sight picture through this window. It’s the same size window and the same clarity. You got really good glass in here. You don’t get that fishbowl effect. Really comfortable to look through. Really easy on the eyes, and it’s very accurate.

I’m very comfortable shooting this. I’ve been a big fan of it so far. I’ve been carrying it for a while now. I have a nice Tenicor holster that it goes into. And it’s just comfortable. Aimpoint is only doing the COA with the Glocks. There are several different models of Glocks that have this A-slide to fit the COA.
