Cooper Montana Nighthawk Customs — 60 Second Review
I have the Cooper Montana Heritage Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor from Nighthawk Customs. So it used to be Cooper Montana. It is now Cooper Arkansas after Nighthawk acquired these guys and, as we know, Nighthawk really makes some phenomenal firearms so they’re taking this over.
This rifle is awesome. It has a walnut stock on it with this awesome palm swell here. It’s incredibly comfortable and the bolt runs really well — very smooth action — incredibly crisp trigger. I haven’t weighed it yet so I don’t know how much it pulls at but it’s definitely smooth and it’s definitely pretty light. Four round detachable magazine and all this goes into a carbon fiber barrel. So I added the SilencerCo Scythe Ti up front and Nighthawk sent this with a Swarovski Z6 2-12 on top of it. Great little hunting scope and I mean that’s what this rifle is built for.
It’s built for the hunter.
It’s a little bit heavier due to that fancy walnut stock on there. They use some really fine wood in this. It’s still plenty light to carry it around the mountains and be just a true workhorse of a hunting rifle. Just a great platform.
I’m very impressed with it and I think you would be too. Go check them out. Cooper Arkansas. It’s the Cooper Montana Heritage Rifle.
