Our Instagram Sunday Q&A is a weekly—or semiweekly depending on JV’s mood that day—chance for you to interact with our team directly. Ask whatever you like, insult us if you please, just don’t go crying about it when JV puts you in your place.
For those of you who are not completely inept, your answers will be swift and educational, leading you to knowledge akin to that of the ancient philosophers who helped drive our species from the Stone Age to modernity. That last part may not be true, but we sure as hell will give you our opinion and help you with whatever problems need solving.
We decided to post these Q&As here so those who had something better to do than look at Instagram on a Sunday afternoon or are dedicated to their craft and actually work Monday morning, can revel in the glory and enjoy some much-needed humor, quality product recommendations, and possible links to Schoby’s Onlyfans page.

Q: Thoughts on Biden stopping out?
A: It doesn’t matter who they put forward or how beatable you think they are. The only way to stand up to the games they’ll play with the election process is for every legal voter to cast their ballot.
We need an overwhelming number of voters to register and show up for our side.

Q: When’s the ACRO collab release?
A: It should be soon. It’s the first collaboration of this type that Aimpoint has done and we’re honored they chose us for it.
Q: 50K budget, 28 days ultimate family vacation, what are you doing?
A: Probably an RV trip around the USA with some hunting and fishing mixed in.
Q: Thouhts on 7 PRC? Good compromise between 6.5 and .300 PRC, just another fad?
A: Very limited experience with it but it’s an awesome long-range cartridge.
It’s not a fad.
Q: Looking to buy some new optics any experience with Swaro NL or the EL range?
A: Experience with both and they’re top tier.
Q: I took a sabbatical…Omega guy update?
A: He hasn’t showed up yet today, but he will if he didn’t swallow his ball gag last night.
Q: Allow the kids to point toy guns at others, or be a hard ass to help prepare for the real thing?
A: How else are they supposed to shoot each other in the face with their nerf guns?
My sons (7&10) and I have regular nerf wars. If they hit me anywhere, I’m out. For them to be out I have to hit them in the face/head. They beat me for the first time last week and this has been going on for a long time.
I was very proud.
Let them play their war games like boys, and teach them gun safety. They’ll know the difference if you do it right.

Q: Is it a sin to get an X-Bolt in .300 PRC instead of the Lord’s Caliber?
A: No. The .300 PRC is superior in every way except for ammo availability.
That said, there’s nothing on earth that cannot be kilt with a well-placed 300WM round.
Q: My friend in the teams introduced me to LaRue and y’all never discuss them. Why?
A: We do on occasion. LaRue Tactical makes amazing rifles.

A: Optics. Get a Leupold Mark 5 3.6-18.

A: Have a pair but have not worn them yet. They seem to be the best of their type.

Q: Browning A5 or Beretta A400.
A: Both are great. Preference goes to the A5. Preference to inertia over gas.
Q: Like to ask Mr. Don Jr. permission to ask Kai to trade marlin fishing for a golf lesson.
A: If Don’s daughter wants to go marlin fishing, she’ll go with him. This is a better deal for everyone because it means you don’t have to die.
