I know, I know, we have been reviewing the hell out of these Turtlebox speakers, but I feel I owe it to a product that I actually use on a daily basis. You have probably seen the other reviews talking about the three different sizes of speaker that Turtlebox makes, but I figured I would dedicate one to the Ranger, which is the smallest bluetooth speaker in the Turtlebox range.
For me, Bluetooth speakers are like women — I like them both big and small. There is nothing better then whipping out the oversized Turtlebox Grande from the back of my truck when I’m parked down at the beach after an epic surf session. But without a doubt, there is always a need for the smaller-sized Ranger. I enjoy more cushion for the pushin’, but more often than not, I like to have a spinner in the stable, and thats exactly how I feel about the Ranger.
Turtlebox Ranger Features
The Turtlebox Ranger is small enough to fit in your carry-on bag, but still packs plenty of punch to blow your ears out the back of your ass. As goes with all the Turtlebox speakers, these things are bombproof and can be completely submerged in water. There are magnets integrated into the backside of the speaker so you can slap this thing onto your sub-zero fridge and drown out the sound of your wife bitching at you after she finds those nudes you have hidden on your phone. Keep it in the back of your truck, on your boat or four-wheeler, or stuck to your shower door handle — there is always a place and time for the Turtlebox Ranger.

Pros: Dust-proof, shock-proof and waterproof; small and compact; loud as fuck; can be paired with multiple Turtlebox speakers.
Cons: Can get you sent to prison if you hit someone over the head with it; loud enough to annoy the people tailgating next to you; also, you can forget it’s connected to your computer while you are watching porn at high volume.
