Single-shot rifles are way cooler in person than they are in concept. When you use them as a suppressor host, they get infinitely cooler. There’s just something about them that makes it fun to shoot while also being very practical. Rossi launched their Brawler series when I was working for one of their largest distributors. When the product went live, the sales numbers were staggering. Then things picked up even more when people realized how accurate and good the triggers were. The Brawlers were real viable options for a hunting platform, and it was available at a ridiculously low price. Being a nerd, I immediately asked Rossi if I could get a stock assembly from their LWC and put it on a Brawler. Ideally, I wanted a folding stock assembly that would give me a backpack gun for climbing in and out of the stand. That’s where we got the original concept for The Single Wide.
A super-compact, super-quiet .300 BLK is a great option for whitetail hunting in the Southeast. Generally speaking, you can always find a stand or blind that allows you to keep things within 100 yards, and The Single Wide is an easy 100-yard killer. Not only are these quiet, but they’re some of the most accurate guns we’ve shot. One of our expert-level friends said it’s the most accurate dollar-for-dollar gun he’s ever shot. With easy sub-MOA groupings and a sub-$500 price point, it makes a good case for itself.
The Surgical Single-Shot
This isn’t a Honey Badger designed to take down a whitetail at 7 p.m. and then park next to your bedside for home defense duty later on. This is the most fun you can buy for $500. It’s a fun range toy that can also jump into a hunting role with ease. My favorite part is that you can easily pack it in the smallest of backpacks to keep things hands free when you’re getting in and out of your hunting spots.
The included Picatinny rail allows you to go with a red dot (with or without a magnifier) or a traditional scope. Because it’s mounted directly to the tip-up barrel, the accuracy is consistent with each shot. The folding stock is made primarily with an extremely lightweight polymer that keeps this package from tipping the scales.
Talking about pricing, we’ve called this The Single Wide “Tareef.” Due to circumstances beyond our control, these guns got hit with a hefty tariff coming from Brazil and that raised the price higher than we initially wanted it to be. At the end of the day, at less than $500, this is still one of the best deals you can get on the market, and you’re buying the first ever run of NFA items from Rossi (probably a collector’s item down the road, we don’t know).
Mama Loves The Single Wide
Whether this is a plinking toy or your next hog killer for the treestand, The Single Wide is going to be one of the most fun toys you’ll add to your collection for less than $500. I can guarantee we’ll see people adding 6x or more in value to this gun when they add their suppressor and optic setups.
Price: $499.99. Available exclusively through KYGUNCO.
Pros: You won’t find a more fun SBR for less than $500.
Cons: We are only making a limited batch of these for this run so you should jump on it quickly if you’re on the fence.

P.S.: We discovered that the Dead Air Nomad Ti OTB fits PERFECTLY on this gun. It’s like it was made for it. I highly recommend pairing it. It’s our favorite suppressor right now.
